Norman Barfield began building homes in 1973, upon completion of his Juris Doctor Degree from South Texas College of Law. Norman holds the distinction as builder of the first custom home occupied in The Woodlands, in Houston, Texas, and consistently in his building career has selected the best master planned communities available for building his homes.
Building a home that is a source of pride and comfort to his homeowners is the goal that Norman has, and he has assembled a team of the most conscientious contractors in the business. Some have been with him since his first house in 1973, and other have joined him over the years, but all share his goal of producing the highest quality home and of continuing service to the homeowner after closing. Norman’s sons, Mark and Warren, work daily with all home buyers to help assure close and direct contact with the company.
Barfield Building Company is a Certified Master Builder, a member of an organization that sets forth professional and responsible business practices. Norman sits on the Board of the Certified Master Builder Corporation, and is also a member of the Builders Association of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, the Texas Association of Builders, the National Association of Home Builders and the State Bar of Texas.
